Barbecue Sauce
My son was a little picky as a child. This is a simple sauce that he enjoyed and one that will please any picky eaters!
In a small bowl, combine the following ingredients.
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
1/4 cup of barbecue sauce ( your favorite)
Prepare a day in advance so the flavors can mix. Keep in the fridge until serving.
Tip: To avoid running out, I recommend doubling this recipe!
Toblerone (Swiss) Chocolate Fondue
1.5 cup heavy cream
12 bars Toblerone with Honey and Almond Nougat 3.5 oz. each, broken into pieces
In a medium-sized saucepan, heat cream over medium heat until steaming, stirring constantly.
Add pieces of chocolate a handful at a time. Stir after each addition. Let the chocolate partially melt before adding more.
Lower heat so that cream and chocolate do not scorch, and stir until all chocolate is melted. Transfer to fondue pot immediately.
You can add a dash of cinnamon or 2oz of your favorite liquor for a little twist!!
Serve with sliced bananas, strawberries, Rice Krispy treats, pretzels, pound cake squares, blueberries, marshmallows, shortbread cookies or any other kind of fruits you like!
